Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to validation of Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ). The research method was descriptive. The population of the administrative staff of the five government agencies located in the city of Sanandaj official sites, including gas, electrical distribution company, Social Security Organization, Imam Khomeini Relief foundation, and the organization of Registration of a deeds and properties Kurdistan's. with regard the ratio of employees in any organization, a sample of 131 subjects were selected by classified random sampling. Data gathering tool was Authentic Leadership Questionnaire. Analysis was performed using confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficients and one sample t-test. The results showed that the Construct validity and in tornal consistency of the Authentic Leadership questionnaire was confirmed. The results also showed that Authentic Leadership status in the organizations studied was an above average.

Abstract: 

The concept of organizational transparency has vaulted to prominence in recent years and established as a necessity in the fight against organizational and individual irregularities (corruption, fraud, financial scandals). While Guidelines exist to help organizations be more transparent, but the real test is how stakeholders perceive an organization’ s transparency and there have been no efforts to measure this abstract concept. The purpose of this study was to validation of Organizational Transparency Questionnaire. Therefore the research method was descriptive. Statistical population was Roads and Urban Development General Directorate staff of Kerman and 118 subjects were selected using random sampling. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviations and inferential tests including first order confirmatory factor analysis, second order confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Statistical software were SPPS19 and Lisrel8. 5. The results showed that four indicators of Organizational Transparency Questionnaire were Reducible to Four dimensions Include Participation, Substantial information, accountability and Secrecy. Also reliability of this scale also was approved. The results also showed that Organizational Transparency status from the standpoint of the sample was average. Based on the results, Rawlins Transparency Inventory (2008) can be used in Iran.

Abstract: 

the aim of this study was to test the factor structure and internal consistency of the 10-item moral identity of (Aquino & Reed, 2002) based on moral traits of an Iranian sample of college students. The sample consisted of 429 students (313 females, 111 males, 5 not reported). The exploratory factor analysis identified two factors accounting for 50. 41% of the variance: Symbolization (34. 67%) and internalization (15. 74%). Internal consistency of the symbolization and internalization factors were 75% and 61%, respectively. The confirmatory factor analysis results indicated that the two factor model fitted the data better than one factor model.

Abstract: 

Background: Paralleling the many scandals of organizations and consequently damaged public trust to them, positive organizational scholarship focused on the notions such as virtue, moral character, and virtuous organization. With this approach, the purpose of this study was to examine the factorial structure and internal consistency of organizational virtuousness questionnaire.Method: Research method was descriptive-correlation. Statistical population was Roads and Urban Development General Directorate staff of Kerman and 118 subjects were selected using random sampling. To investigate the factorial structure of organizational virtuousness questionnaire, confirmatory factor analysis was used and to determine its internal consistency, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used.Results: The results showed that the factorial structure of organizational virtuousness questionnaire consists of five dimensions of optimism, trust, compassion, integrity and forgiveness, was confirmed. The internal consistency of the questionnaire components being in the range of.709 to.830 that was acceptable.Conclusion: According to the findings, validity and reliability of five-factor version of Organizational Virtuousness Questionnaire, is good and can be used in future research.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of the present study was to investigate psychometric properties of the Questionnaire of Teacher Interaction (QTI, Lourdusamy & Khine, 2001) among Iranian teachers. In this correlation study, 200 teachers (100 males, 100 female) completed the Questionnaire of Teacher Interaction (QTI). The confirmatory factor analysis method and internal consistency were used to compute the QTI's factorial validity and reliability, respectively. The results of confirmatory factor analysis, based AMOS software, indicated that multidimensional structure of the QTI consisted leadership, helpful/friendly behavior, understanding, student responsibility and freedom, uncertain, dissatisfied, admonishing and strict behavior had acceptable fit to data in the Iranian teacher’ s sample. Internal consistencies for the scales of Questionnaire of Teacher Interaction ranged from 0/55 to 0/70. In sum, these findings provide evidence for the validity and reliability of the QTI as an instrument to measure model of interpersonal relation behavior among Iranian teachers.

Abstract: 

The current investigation was aimed toward testing the factor structure and Measurement of internal consistencyof academic well-Being questionnaire (AWBQ).Method:Three-hundred and sixty five students from school of Poldokhtar city (189 male and 176 female) were selected through multi-stage sampling method. Students completed the Farsi version of AWBQ and the academic stress questionnaire (ASQ). The exploratory factoranalysisand confirmatory factor analysis and internal consistency were used to compute the AWBQ's factorial validity and reliability, respectively.Findings:The results of principle component analysis (PC) and oblique rotation replicated the four-factor structure of the AWBQ. Based on item content, factors were named difficulty with school values, school burnout, satisfaction with educational choice and schoolwork engagement. Based on AMOS software, Goodness-of-fit indices of confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the 4 extracted factors. The multidimensional scales of AWBQ were shown to be an acceptable measurement model in this sample. The significant correlation between the AWBQ factor score and it’s dimensions with total score of academic stress confirmed the validity of the AWBQ.Conclusion:These findings speak to the robustness of the AWBQ, in revealing its relatively stable structure, and consequently, to its potential usefulness as a valid measure of academic well-being for Iranian students.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to test the factor structure and internal consistency of the 12-item identity subscale of Erikson Psychosocial Stage Inventory (EPSI; Rosenthal, Gurney, & Moor, 1981). The sample consisted of 594 students (297 females, 297 males, age group 12-13). Exploratory factor analysis identified two factors accounting for 39.93% of the variance: Identity coherence (24.66%) and identity confusion (15.27%). Internal consistency of the identity coherence and identity confusion factors were 0.694 and 0.632, respectively. Confirmatory factor analysis results indicated that the two factor model fit the data better than one factor model.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to examine the questions of the Likert scale with the Classical Test Theory and the Item Response Theory, then putting together the results of these two approaches and answering the question "Are the results of these two approaches consistent? or do they contradict each other?" . The research method is descriptive and in terms of data, it is a secondary analysis method. The subjects studied in this research included 977 students of the junior high school students, that by removing individuals in the data screening stage, finally, the analysis of extraversion items was based on the information of 783 subjects, the analysis of openness items on the information of 763 subjects, and analysis of conscientiousness items on the information of 784 subjects. The research instruments were 3 subscales of extraversion, openness and conscientiousness of the Neo Personality Test. The results of the statistical analysis showed that the higher the internal consistency of the items, the more accurate and valid the results obtained from the graded response model, and for items with low internal consistency through this model, it should be acted cautiously; Because it may show the threshold of the items inverted or the discrimination coefficient of the questions false negative or positive. All in all, the simultaneous use of different methods of statistical analysis will be of aid in better analysis and obtaining more accurate results.

Abstract: 

Objectives: The aim of the present research was to examine the validity, reliability and factor structure of Wells and Davis Thought Control Questionnaire (TCQ).Method: In this descriptive study, 472 undergraduate students of Urmia University were randomly selected, and the ques-tionnaire was administered to them. Cronbach’s alpha factor and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used in order to determine the reliability and validity of T‍‍CQ. One and two factor model of TCQ was examined using the latter method.Results: Reliability coefficients for TCQ five factors were between 0.62 and 0.73, which indicate a relatively low reliability. Results of Confirmatory Factor Analysis indicated that worry and self-punishment load on one factor; and reevaluation, distraction and social strategies load on the other. Therefore, the questionnaire encompasses and evaluates both the functional and dysfunctional strategies. Chi-square of goodness of fit model obtained two factors (651.82), which is smaller compared with a factor model (1169.10) and therefore considered a suitable model.  Other goodness of fit indices such as GFI (0.91), AGFI (0.88), AIC (445.87), CFI (0.90) and NNFI (0.95) were also closer in terms of amount to relevant standard indices.Conclusion: The obtained results replicated some of the previous findings and supported the TCQ two-factorial structure as well as the super-order factor model in which TCQ is composed of two factors and five components. However, because of insignificant factorial load of some items as well as the relatively low reliability of indices, the authors suggest that TCQ should be revised.
